"When the human disappears from our messages." – This project explores how communication has changed in an increasingly digital world. While handwritten letters and postcards once carried personal warmth, today's messages are often brief, fast, and fleeting. Inspired by the stories of grandparents, this publication traces the evolution of communication over a single lifetime. From telegrams and payphones to carefully written postcards and, eventually, instant messages and voice notes, their journey serves as a reflection of the broader societal shift. More than just documentation, this project is a reminder that words, when written by hand, carry weight. Alongside the publication, a series of customizable postcards encourages people to take the time to write again—to connect in a way that lasts beyond a screen. At its core, this is a call to bring back a little of the warmth and sincerity that has been lost in the rush of digital communication.
